Gianfranco Ferre was an Italian designer (who died in 2007) and was known as "the architect of fashion" for his originality and attitude toward fashion design. In 1989 Ferre became the Stylistic Director for the House of Dior and in 1978 Ferre created his own line, while still working for Dior. This is a very unique piece in terms of its design and whoever wears this out is definitely making a statement!
