This is a lovely 1950's vintage Volupte Sophisticase compact purse with moiré black case and the original box.

The piece is in very good vintage condition with no damage to the moiré carrying case. The gold tone compact purse has some light scuffing and tarnish, but no serious scratches or damage. Any strange marks are reflections and not damage.

It opens to a clean powder compartment with the original sifter net and puff. It has the original clear plastic comb that in great condition, and two other compartments; one for lipstick and one for money or small items.

The mirror is in excellent useable condition; and the piece is hallmarked Volupte. it comes complete in the original box.

The purse measures approximately 4 1/2 inches in length by 3 1/2 inches in width.
